Four decades inside India's EMI/EMC programmes.
SGOI was founded by engineers who built the country's electromagnetic compatibility capability from the inside — at ISRO, at DRDO, and across the public and private laboratories they went on to establish.
Rajeshwar Rao Kunamalla
Founder & CEO
Rajeshwar Rao Kunamalla has spent his career in Electromagnetic Interference and Electromagnetic Compatibility — on the Indian missile programme, in electronic counter measures, and in EMI prediction and analysis.
He spearheaded the establishment of EMI/EMC test facilities in three DRDO laboratories, and was one of the main members in establishing six further EMI/EMC centres across public sector undertakings and private organisations, with two more in the pipeline.
He is an expert in the design of shielded enclosures, mobile shielded shelters, shielded RCC buildings and electrolytic earthing. His research interests include EMI measurement and the EMC design of airborne, shipborne and ground systems, and EMI prediction analysis. He has worked on the indigenous development of shielded enclosures, mobile shielded shelters, and EMI suppression components and materials.
A record built in the field.
From satellite tracking to missile qualification — and the laboratories that made both possible.
